INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING AEROSOL CAN PARALLELISM INSTRUMENT TYPE PPCP

PPCP is a measuring instrument for controlling the parallelism of an aerosol container opening’s plane with respect to its base plane. It is intended to be used with the aluminum and steel aerosol cans.

According to EN 15010 standard, the parallelism of the aerosol can is considered 1 of 3 critical parameters directly related with the effectiveness of aerosol valve crimp, thus is defining the quality of end aerosol product.

The design of the instrument as well as the measuring methodology behind it follows the guidelines laid down in FEA 405 Standard (in its 09/2019 revision). The instrument is equipped with a gauge providing 0.01 mm of measuring resolution and accuracy up to 3 µm.
