Bead’s planeness is considered crucial from an end-product quality standpoint, as it directly impacts the quality and tightness of the crimp of aerosol valve.
The design of the instrument as well as the measuring methodology behind it follows the guidelines laid down in FEA 406 Standard (in its 09/2019 revision). The instrument is equipped with a gauge providing 0.01 mm of measuring resolution and accuracy up to 3 µm.
